A Multi-Generational Family Shoot

These are the photos that get shared over a kitchen table…passed around… as a family story is recounted and remembered. These are the images that tell the story of our lives.

Didn’t they do a great job coordinating wardrobes? Their colors of blue, teal and rust all complimented each other and the beautiful Fall day.

The Autumn sky did not disappoint, billowy and dramatic! The plan was to pose on the hill, but all the sweetness on the way up told a story of connections and joy. Getting there was half the fun!

Here’s how a session works.

Sarah and I messaged quite a bit. We discussed a date and time, times of day and lighting. Images that appealed to her vision she sent to me and I shared with her ones that inspired me, to get us on the same page. I sent her an article that gave her tips on how to match up the family attire.

Time with little children is really dependent on them. These 2 little ones allowed us about an hour and 10 locations around the property for posing! Right away I sent 5 edits of the same image, each edited a different way, with different tones and asked Sarah which she prefered. With a lane to stay in, there were about 200 edited images I presented to Sarah and her mother, Dianne in a private link. Favorites were chosen and about 35 got extra special additional editing. THe link allows the customer to download individual photos or the whole album. Prints and gifts can be ordered from the link, too!

As the holidays approach and our thoughts turn to family, what a great idea to include grandparents in the images. Grandchildren will treasure these photographs. This family seized the opportunity to celebrate these lovingly relationships.

These children were so sweet and so cooperative. I will always remember the way the ran to their grandparents, when they arrived.

Dom's Senior Portraits

Taking senior portraits is an honor. This young person’s adult story is just starting to unfold, full of promise and excitement over the unknown. We are very grateful that our images will remind Dominic and his family of our Fall afternoon together during this hope-filled time.
